Delivery & Installation Process

At Atlantic Steel Structures, we are committed to providing a smooth and transparent delivery and installation experience for all our prefabricated steel building kits. We partner with a network of highly vetted manufacturing and installation professionals across the United States to ensure timely and professional service.They are a part of the MBCEA which stands for the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association. 

Nationwide Delivery

We proudly offer FREE delivery on all qualifying steel structures. Once your order is placed, it is reviewed by our experienced building specialists and customer service team to ensure accuracy and alignment with your site and specifications.

Following this, your order is sent to the scheduling department of one of our trusted manufacturing partners, based on your location and project type.

What to Expect After Ordering

  • Scheduling: A representative from the manufacturer’s scheduling team will contact you to discuss delivery timelines and payment instructions.

  • Site Preparation: Prior to delivery, your site must be properly prepared. This includes ensuring the ground is level, clear of debris, and accessible for a truck and trailer measuring 30–42 feet in length.

  • Access Requirements: Narrow, steep, or obstructed driveways may prevent delivery.. Please inform us of any potential access challenges in advance.

Payment Details

Please have your final payment ready prior to the crew’s arrival. Accepted payment methods include:

  • Money Orders or Cashier’s Checks made payable to the manufacturer (name provided by the installation crew)

  • Major Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express

Note: Personal checks and cash are not accepted.

Additional Charges

If your site is not level or not properly prepared, or if access is restricted, additional charges may apply. In some cases, the installation may be delayed or rescheduled, which may also incur a return trip fee.

Return & Refund Policy

At Atlantic Steel Structures, we are committed to delivering high-quality, custom-engineered steel buildings. Due to the specialized nature of our products and services, all installed units are custom orders and are therefore non-cancellable, non-returnable, and non-refundable.

No Cancellations, No Returns, No Refunds

Once your order is placed and a down payment is submitted, it is considered a final sale. This is because each steel building is custom fabricated and engineered to meet your specific requirements, including location, design, and certification needs.

  • All down payments are non-refundable.

  • Orders cannot be cancelled after submission.

  • No returns are accepted for installed buildings or materials.

We strongly encourage customers to ensure their site is ready, permits (if required) are secured, and that all project details are confirmed before placing an order.

Delivery & Installation Timeline

The average delivery and installation timeframe is typically 3 to 8 weeks from order confirmation. However, timelines may vary depending on:

  • Location and accessibility of the build site

  • Weather and environmental conditions

  • Scheduling availability of our manufacturing and installation partners

  • Inventory and transportation logistics

While we strive to meet all deadlines, Atlantic Steel Structures cannot guarantee exact delivery or installation dates. This is standard across the prefabricated building industry.

Third-Party Installation Responsibility

Atlantic Steel Structures serves as a dealer and project coordinator. Our manufacturer and installer partners are responsible for the actual delivery and installation of your building.

  • Customers are responsible for coordinating with the assigned installation company for scheduling.

  • If issues arise during delivery or installation, they must be resolved directly with the installer.

  • We will, however, work in good faith with both parties to help facilitate a resolution.

Customer Responsibilities

Before placing your order, we recommend that you:

  • Research local building codes and permit requirements

  • Ensure your installation site is level, clear, and accessible

  • Understand that installation timelines are subject to change

Failure to prepare your site may result in delays or additional fees from the installation crew.

Non-Refundable Deposit Policy

A 10% to 18% deposit is required at the time of order. This deposit:

  • Secures your quoted price for up to 6 months

  • Allows our team to begin engineering and scheduling your build

  • Is non-refundable under all circumstances, including customer-initiated cancellations

Refunds will only be considered at the discretion of senior management in rare cases, and are not guaranteed.

Agreement Acknowledgement

By placing an order with Atlantic Steel Structures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Return & Refund Policy.
